Robot combat
in Australia
Robowars began with builders turning steel, power tools and radio gear into fighting machines. When the 2011 floods destroyed our Queensland arenas, the sport could easily have ended. Instead, a handful of builders started again with 150-gram robots, small workshops and a plan to grow.
That rebuild led to packed venues, national championships and competitors from every state. Today Robowars is still run by the people in the pits: designing, repairing, sharing what they know and bringing the next generation into the arena.
